
Dr. Carlos Gomez-Meade earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an osteopathic medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. After medical school, he completed a family medicine internship and residency at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed another residency, this time in dermatology and also from Broward General Medical Center, and was named Chief Resident in his final year. Afterward, he completed a year of fellowship in Mohs Surgery at the Skin Institute of South Florida.
Dr. Gomez-Meade is a fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
