Dr. Jamie McDowell

Dr. Jamie McDowell is a gynecologiconcologist who completed fellowshiptraining at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident of education. Her research interests focus on all gynecologic malignancies and quality improvement. She has published multiple scholarly articles on several topics within the specialty. Dr. McDowell values building meaningful relationships with patients and helpingthem feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their cancer journey. She is also deeply committed to education and enjoys teaching at every level—from helping patients better understand their diagnoses and treatment options to mentoring medical students, residents, and future physicians. In addition, she enjoys participating in global medical outreach initiatives that provide care to underserved communities. Her work reflects a strong commitment to
patient-centered care, education, and advancing women’s health through clinical excellence, research, and service.
