Pricing Transparency

Prior to reviewing the information below, it is important to understand that what OCSRI charges for a service is NOT the same as what you or your insurance company may pay for a service.

Thank you for your interest in learning more about Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute’s pricing. In the document below, you will find information that complies with the pricing transparency requirements enacted by Oklahoma HB 1006 “Transparency in Health Care Prices Act” where standard healthcare service cash-prices must be listed by all providers, groups and facilities.

When reviewing the provided services, there are two different types of charges within the healthcare industry – gross charge and negotiated charge.

Gross charge is the established price billed to patients regardless of insurance coverage.

Negotiated charge is the price insurance companies have agreed to pay for patients’ services.

Please note that insured patients will likely be responsible for a portion of the negotiated charge.

All out-of-pocket expenses will depend on the individual patient’s insurance coverage. These charges include but are not limited to hospital services for both uninsured and insured patients.

Uninsured patients should contact OCSRI to assist with payment options.
