Between clinic, hospital, infusion and research, the OCSRI honorees represent various departments within the institute, attesting to the wide range of expertise and dedication within our care team. This year’s honorees continue to uphold the high standards of professionalism, mentorship and compassionate care that define OCSRI.
The Great 100 Nurses of Oklahoma award selects the top 100 nurses from over 400 nominees across the state. The award celebrates those who embody the highest standards of nursing. OCSRI’s continued recognition under this achievement reaffirms our leadership in providing quality cancer care in Oklahoma.
“It’s truly an honor to be named one of the Great 100 Nurses of Oklahoma this year,” Carman said.
“Joining the long line of distinguished nurses at OCSRI is incredibly inspiring. Every day, I witness the dedication and expertise of our team as we work together to provide exceptional care for our patients, and I’m proud to be part of such an outstanding group.”
The Great 100 Nurses Foundation was established in 1985 by PK Scheerle, a registered nurse and entrepreneur in New Orleans, LA. The Great 100 Celebrations now recognize nurses in Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas. The Great 100 Celebrations raise funds that support nursing advocacy, research, scholarships and the publication of nursing discoveries. OCSRI’s latest recognition by The Great 100 Nurses Foundation highlights both the individual talents of OCSRI nurses and the institute’s ongoing dedication to patient-centered cancer care.
