OCSRI is proud to announce a new chapter of Community Oncology Alliance’s (COA) Patient Advocacy Network (CPAN), in Tulsa! CPAN gives a voice to cancer patients, survivors and the people they interact with as part of their cancer treatment—physicians, practice staff, caregivers and family members. Everyone involved in the organization is committed to guaranteeing innovative, convenient and personal cancer care. By providing important education, CPAN broadens its members’ ability to better communicate with policymakers, media and others. This helps the organization bring attention to the policy issues that impact the community oncology and mobilize support for its community. As the only organization dedicated to “advocating for the care” of the cancer community, CPAN hopes to inspire change, by sharing the inspiring stories of its members.
