Misty Anderson began her career in 1994 as an orthopedic oncology medical assistant. After earning her undergraduate degree in 2002, she joined the oncology unit at St. John Medical Center as a floor nurse, where she worked for three consecutive years before transferring to the emergency department at St. John Medical Center. While working in the emergency department, Anderson earned her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Anderson’s specialty is developing symptom management plans that aid in supporting patients at each stage of their care.
